FOUR players scored hat-tricks as leaders Worcester City Wanderers Girls Under 13s defeated Peopleton Juniors 14-0 in the Mercian Festival Junior League.
Emily Burton, Lauren Williams, Clarissa Smith and Abi Laker notched trebles, while Emma Evans and Shahena Sultana were also on target.
UNDER 12s: Joe Adams slammed home a hat-trick as Leigh and Bransford Badgers Villa hit back to beat Kempsey Colts 3-1 in Division Two.
Colts had won 9-2 just seven days earlier but Villa started well and man-of-the-match Adams tapped home the opener from Sam Harcombe’s surging run.
He added another after a fine dribble and finish before home keeper Warwick Pitts pulled off a great save in the second period.
Kempsey did manage a consolation before Adams completed his hat-trick with a cheeky back-heel from Chris Medakovic’s pass.
Warndon Villages Vipers were unable to hold out for a win as they drew 1-1 with Westside Wanderers.
Without a competitive game for six weeks, Vipers returned fresh and took the lead with a strong Lewis McIver shot from the edge of the area.
Westside, though, deserved their point as they finished the stronger team.
UNDER 11s: Worcester Raiders cruised through to the Philip Jeynes Memorial Cup quarter-finals with a 7-0 win over Kempsey Colts.
A hat-trick by Alex Crawford led Raiders home as they notched five goals in the second period.
Alex Pullen, George Loader, Ryan Tooth and Luke Davis also scored.
UNDER NINES: The Medakovic cousins, Dan and Emilio, were on target as Leigh and Bransford Badgers Spurs saw off Evesham United Robins 2-0 in the George Goode Memorial Shield round two.
Both defences were well organised as Spurs captain Danny Gauci and Jack Wild starred for the hosts with Sam Hawthorn providing protection in midfield.
Jazz Byers went close twice in the first period and was also denied after the interval.
After 10 minutes of the second period, Dan Medakovic rolled home a penalty after Byers’ cross was handled.
Sub Emilio Medakovic added the second with the last move of the game.
Michael Hall bagged his second hat-trick of the season as Warndon Villages Scorpions won 5-0 at Ombersley Eagles in the League Cup.
A superb second-half display aided Scorpions who led at the interval through Ben Ward’s fine drive.
Hall pounced on a defensive error and then added another before Scorpions were reduced to six players for the final 10 minutes due to injury.
However, the Worcester team dug deep and netted two further goals through Dylan Barnes and Hall.
