TWO Stourport Hockey Club players have been picked for a national training programme.
Goalkeeper Isobel Davies and David Devey are in the national age group U16/U18 programme for the 2008/09 season following assessment camps last month.
Davies, who attends Cheltenham Ladies College, is part of the 25-strong under 16s girls squad, while Devey is among 24 in the under 18s boys set-up.
The under 16s programme involves warm weather training in Gibraltar, sessions and camps in the UK, the Easter Four Nations tournaments and Test matches.
Devey will also compete in the EuroHockey Youth Nations Championships and the UK School Games as part of the under 18s schedule.
