WORCESTER men’s first team slumped to the foot of the BodyKraft Midlands Prem-ier Division.

They were beaten 7-3 at home to Sikh Union (Nottingham), who leap-frogged the city side in the table.

The seconds were held to a 1-1 draw by North Notts.

Worcester began strongly with the majority of possession in the first-half which saw Chris Kendall give them the lead.

However, a change of pace in the second-half saw North Notts scramble home an equaliser.

Rich Stocks bagged a brace for the thirds as they ran out 2-1 winners over Telford and Wrekin.

Stocks fired the city into the lead in the first-half from a short corner, but the Shrops-hire side levelled.

Worcester stepped up a gear and Stocks grabbed the winner.

The fourths went down to the odd-goal-in-five against Stourport fifths.

Neil Clinton and Matt Wilson struck either side of a Stourport goal before parity was restored once again.

Worcester seemed set to get a draw before Stourport grabbed a controversial late winner.

Worcester fifths slumped to a 2-1 defeat at Edgbaston sixths. A Brian Crump goal and a solid performance from keeper Gavin Hughes were the only highlights and if they are to survive the drop, major changes are needed.

The sixths claimed a 3-0 victory over Olton and West Warwick. Ollie Bradley gave them the lead with a reverse stick shot and Simon Griffiths added a second from a short corner. Nigel Haddock sealed the win before the break with the third.

Worcester Badgers were narrowly beaten by Bourn-ville 1-0.
