OLDBURY Park Tigers Under 14s romped to a 12-0 Stourport Youth League Cup victory at Mostyn Rangers.

On a heavy, muddy pitch, Tigers were quick to get the ball out wide to wingers Jack Shemwell and Tom Baker.

Josh Newbold opened the scoring after five minutes and added another alongside strikes from James Day (2) and Baker (2) in the first-half.

Second-half goals followed from Day, Kieran Williams (2), Ryan Griffin and Jordan Murton (2).

Nunnery Wood Jaguars were knocked out of the cup after a 4-3 home defeat to Kidderminster Lions Youth.

Ryan Upson was denied by an early save but Lions went ahead against the run of play after a mix-up.

Jaguars levelled within two minutes through Upson’s brave header from a James Parkin cross.

They took charge with Chris Jeffrey putting them ahead with a fine chip. An unmarked Sam Kenny curled in a first-time shot to extend the lead soon after.

Jaguars should have led by more but Lions bounced back in the second period and scored three.

The winner arrived when keeper Adam Paintin parried a shot on the bar only for Lions to convert the rebound. Jaguars hit the post in the last minute.

UNDER 13s: Northside Colts saw off Bewdley Town 8-1 with an excellent display.

Cam Thorne combined with top-scorer Matt Armstrong twice to fire home the first two goals.

Player-of-the-match Guy Bellamy impressed with skipper John Hewitt at the back.

Armstrong opened his account before Kyle Gittings struck a consolation for Bewdley.

Will Sowden added a fourth Colts goal before half-time.

In the second period, Armstrong continued the goal rush with Asa Harrison, Brad Houghton and Rhys Turberfield completing the scoring.

UNDER 12s: Nunnery Wood Tigers saw off Areley Kings Youth 4-1 in Division Two.

Tigers struggled early on but keeper James Ridge was alert in a goalless first period.

Ben Jones and Jai Gilchrist went close for Tigers who emerged in a positive fashion for the second-half.

They went ahead through a Christian Eyles penalty after Anees Tariq was tripped. Jake Rousell cut inside to fire home the second goal before he fired a shot which rebounded for Ben Harrington to tap in.

Gilchrist grabbed the fourth with Youth deserving their late consolation goal.

UNDER 11s: Nunnery Wood Leopards beat their Tigers counterparts 2-0 in a fast-paced cup clash with Ben Lane and Bradley Hunt on target.

Tigers put on early pressure but were denied by keeper Toby Wilcox and then Lane headed in a Keiran Smith corner for Leopards.

Although Ridge kept Tigers in the game, good work by Joe Bates enabled Hunt to finish off the game.

Ben Harrington and Sam Hayes had good games with Smith looking solid at the back.

Warndon Villages Sharks produced one of their best displays of the season to win 6-0 at Pershore 2007 in the cup.

James Stevens scored his first hat-trick for Sharks with Matt Sowden and Callum Parker (2) also on target.

Despite the scoreline. Pershore kept trying to attack but Liam Dayus, Joseph Kealey and Kieran Bruns defended superbly.
