PERSHORE Tennis Centre has recently gained the Lawn Tennis Association’s “Clubmark” certification of quality and excellence.
The Centre has been recognised for putting in place excellent procedures and practices when delivering its varied tennis services.
Membership is now at its highest level having gone from 200 a little more than two years ago to nearly 400.
It has also strong mix of LTA qualified coaches.
The indoor courts have helped with the junior programme which has seen ball-skills for three to five-year-olds set-up on Fridays.
From January, the Centre will also be starting new sessions.
There will be Easy Tennis, which is fun tennis inside for adults on a badminton court using sponge balls.
There will also be Cardio Tennis, which combines tennis, fitness and music in an entertaining way.
“We are very proud of the progress we are making at Pershore Tennis Centre,” said chairman Ian Johnson.
“We can offer the public, of whatever age or standard, fun, quality and great services.”
