BROMSGROVE Rovers cras-hed to a 2-0 defeat at Romulus in British Gas Business Div-ision One Midlands.
The Victoria Ground outfit found themselves behind after 26 minutes when Jerome Grandison sprinted past keeper James Dormand.
However, the Roms hitman was clattered to the ground in the penalty area and Tyrone Fagan stepped up to slam home the spot-kick.
Rovers battled back but they found the hosts central defenders Sam Smith and Peter Folks tough to breakdown.
Roms ensured the points were staying at Coles Lane when they hit Rod Brown’s men on the counter-attack and Fagan netted his second in the dying seconds.
Stourport Swifts, meanwhile, crashed to a 1-0 defeat in their match against AFC Sudbury at Walshes Meadow.
Neil Hunt’s men have now not scored in six league games and they were undone by a goal in the 78th minute as James Rowe slotted past Paul Evans.
