MALVERN Town were brought back down to earth with a bump as they crashed to Nuneaton Town at the Langland Stadium.
After picking up their first British Gas Business Division One Midlands victory the previous weekend, they were behind after six minutes when Robert Foster threaded his way through two Malvern defenders before slotting the ball past Craig Humphries.
Malvern were content to close the ball down and prevent Nuneaton attacking and when they did get through they found Humphries in magnificent form.
Nuneaton started the second-half the same way as the first and increased their lead in the 55th minute when a corner was cleared but fell to Foster to net his second.
Five minutes later Darren Critcher cleared the ball off the line for Malvern and Humphries pulled off a fine double save five minutes from time.
Nuneaton scored their third when Jason Armson slotted the ball home with the last kick of the game.
