WHITTINGTON St Peter’s Under 15s produced one of their best displays with a 3-0 win at Bredon Colts in Mercian Festival Junior League Division One.
Playing against the wind in the first-half, St Peter’s defended stoutly although Bredon hit the bar early on.
The visitors then secured the victory with the pacey Tom Staite grabbing a solo strike in his brace and Davey Perkins adding the other goal.
Worcester City Wanderers Girls eventually ended with nine players due to injury but saw off eight-girl Newtown Sports 8-0.
Bobbi Spragg bagged a 20-minute hat-trick and Katie Sampson made it 4-0 at the interval.
Player-of-the-match Fran Colarossi added two in the second-half, including a penalty, as did Ollie Sheldon.
Injuries and unavailability meant Warndon Villages Wildcats Girls played with 10 players in a 3-1 defeat at Burlish Olympic.
Defender Hannah Thain was outstanding as Wildcats kept the score goalless at half-time.
Ellie Gerhold ran from the half-way line to fire the Worcester side ahead in the second period only for Burlish to hit back with two goals in the final 15 minutes sealing their win.
UNDER 13s: Lauren Williams notched five goals as Worcester City Wanderers Girls triumphed 9-0 at Burlish Olympic.
City took 20 minutes to beat the Burlish keeper but then they ran wild with a 6-0 lead at half-time through hat-tricks from Emily Burton and Williams.
Emily Sale and Williams’ additional double completed the scoring, while defender Georgia Brooker was player-of-the-match.
UNDER 11s: Droitwich Spa Wildcats Girls remain just two points behind the leaders after defeating an improved Pershore Town 6-1.
Wildcats were 3-0 ahead at the interval with goals from Lexie Palmer, Lucy Loach and Abbie Wallis.
Wallis added another from long range and completed her hat-trick late on with Casey Homer scoring in between from Bobbie Dutton’s cross.
Pershore’s consolation goal was scored by Grace Bradley, while defender Abbie Weston was Wildcats’ player-of-the-match.
UNDER 10s: Warndon Villages Tigers received a 6-1 drubbing from Welland Juniors Lions in Division One.
Tigers took the lead through Callum Daniels from a Lewis Kirkpatrick through-ball but then the pacey Lions scored three in each half to take the points.
Thomas Brown’s efforts on the right flank earned him the hosts’ man-of-the-match.
UNDER NINES: Warndon Villages Scorpions racked up their fourth successive Division One victory, triumphing 2-1 at Ombersley Falcons.
Jordan Cornes scored the first with a well-placed, crisp shot into the corner and Louis Dear doubled the advantage before half-time with a low, drilled shot.
Ombersley were always dangerous on the break and scored with the last kick of the match.
A battling display from Leigh and Bransford Badgers Spurs saw them share the points with Evesham United Robins in a 1-1 draw.
Keeper Ross Grimshaw and his defence were in great form to keep out impressive opposition in the first-half.
Although Spurs dominated in the second period, Evesham opened the scoring on the break only for the dangerous Jazz Byers to level quickly.
