CHAIRMAN Barry Norgrove insists he is still looking for people to invest in Kidderminster Harriers.

The Aggborough chief is continuing his search for individuals to plough £50,000 into the Blue Square Premier outift each season, the figure re-quired to become a director. although nobody has put up that sort of cash yet.

So far, local businessmen John Davies and Keith Chan-dler have put forward £10,000 each and are looking for others to join them.

Chairman Norgorve said: “We are still looking for people who can put £50,000 in each season. In the short term, if we had an extra £100,000 invested for the rest of the season then we would be OK.”

He added: “If a group comes to us then they must be organised. We couldn’t have them all on the board, but just one representative from a group.

“Obviously, we’d have to sit down and talk to groups if they approached us.”

Norgrove also believes finance director John Baldwin and solicitor Oliver Hunt are invaluable to the club. Both have seats on the board despite not putting money into the Hoo Road club.

The Harriers chairman said: “John and Oliver save the club tens of thousands of pounds each season. I must make it clear that their services are invaluable but they do not make club decisions.”
