JACOB Gillibrand scored an early goal as Leigh and Bransford Badgers Rovers Under 10s won 1-0 at Welland Juniors Colts in the Talbot Page-Jones Memorial Shield.
He calmed a nervy start by burying James Henry’s fine pass before Josh Hall, Will Swiers and Dan Thompson defended solidly to keep Colts out.
When they did break through, keeper Alistair Ching pulled off great saves.
Warndon Villages Tigers achieved their third consecutive win, triumphing 4-1 at Cradley Sports Club in Mercian Festival Junior League Division One.
In a powerful all-round display of teamwork, passing and movement, Dylan Hart (2), Jack Davies and Hayden Lewis scored the goals.
Jonathan Harrison and Davies, with his first league goal, were joint men-of-the-match.
In Division Two, Warndon Villages Lions beat Malvern Town Wanderers 8-1.
Patrick Kavanagh was man-of-the-match with four good goals and some brilliant wing play as Lions led 6-1 at half-time.
UNDER NINES: Warndon Villages Scorpions saw off Ombersley Falcons 6-0 in Division One.
Anton Limlei (3), Louis Dear, Jack Morris and Jordan Cornes were on target as Scorpions scored six goals for the second consecutive week.
UNDER 12s: Warndon Villages Vipers found Oldbury Park Tigers too tenacious, going down 4-1 in Division Two.
Vipers took an early lead through Liam Harris’ looping cross-shot but Tigers enjoyed more possession and dominated the second-half.
Keeper Alex Browning made a couple of good saves as the score remained 1-1 at the interval.
UNDER 15s: Northside Colts produced an excellent display to beat BAM Academicals 10-0 with Matt Giordani scoring a first-half hat-trick.
He grabbed another goal alongside strikes from Jack Porter (3), Scott Sellars (2) and Keir Sellars in the Division Two fixture.
