SKOUSON Harker is looking for more consistency from Worcester Wolves as they pursue their first win of the season at Everton Tigers tonight (7.30).
But Wolves have a massive task in the British Basketball League clash as Tigers have started the match in stunning style with five straight wins.
Tony Garbelotto’s team improved their league record to 4-0 with a narrow 72-70 home victory against Plymouth Raiders and returned from Scottish Rocks with a 88-69 win in the BBL Cup first round.
Wolves’ player-coach Harker has re-signed Anthony Paez and added Vidmantas Uzkuraitis after losing the first three BBL games. They also fell in last weekend’s cup tie with Sheffield Sharks 89-80.
He said: “We definitely need some continuity. It will take a bit here to get things going but Anthony and Vidmantas give us some real weapons from the perimeter.
“That being said though, we need to do a better job moving the ball up the floor via the pass as 80 points just does not cut it.
“Justin Brown and myself need to come ready this weekend if we are to be successful as, for whatever reason, we could not get going versus Sheffield.”
Tonight’s match will be staged at the Greenbank Academy in Liverpool.
