BROMYARD progressed in the EDF Energy Junior Vase after a thrilling 18-17 third-round win over higher-ranked Yardley and District.
Both of Bromyard’s tries came from ball won against the head with hooker Jamie Fryar in great form.
Second-row Jon Middleton touched down and Ainslie Ralph added two penalties for an 11-point lead before Yardley wrestled the initiative.
Bromyard bagged a try with 10 minutes left and Ralph kicked the crucial conversion.
