Powick beat Hanley Swan 2-1 in a Worcestershire FA Saturday Minor Cup second round match that was brought forward a week.
The only other Saturday game saw a comfortable 4-1 league win for Martley over West Malvern.
In the Katherine Rayer Cup, AFC Heenans scored three without reply against Droitwich Spa with Joey Spencer netting twice. Martley Spurs thrashed CMB Sports 6-0.
The game of the round was Droitwich Spa RBL’s odd-goal-in-nine win over Malvern Radar.
With just a few minutes left, RBL’s Anthony Layton popped up twice to score in a frenetic tie.
In the Bernard Finnegan Cup, Ben Schiffmann (3) and Simon McCutcheon (2) helped AFC Severnside thrash Beauchamp Victoria 6-1.
Veteran Darren Tafft scored a brace in Glovers Needle’s 4-1 win over AFC Claines.
Double strikes from Danny Yu and Chris Jones were enough for Raven to drop Anchor out of the competition.
Lewis Merton was in form with two goals for Whitehall in a 4-0 victory over higher-ranked Barbourne Celtic.
In the league programme, goals were aplenty in most divisions.
The prolific Sam Black scored his fifth goal in as many matches for Callow End as they beat Blackpole 2-0 in the Premier Division.
A Dean McCormick triple strike helped MEC Chestnut beat Powick ‘A’ 5-2 in Division Two.
A Grant Gibbs hat-trick was part of a seven-goal romp for the free-scoring Warndon Athletic against Hallow Village.
Jamie and Kevin Insall also netted twice each.
The game of the day in Division Three saw Lower Wick beat FC Grosvenor by the odd goal in nine.
Mike Barley and Ian Hendry scored two each for the hosts as Lee Sheridan’s hat-trick for Grosvenor was not enough.
In Division Four, there was a 4-4 thriller between Goodrest Juniors and Blue Star.
Simon Busby was on hand for Goodrest with two goals.
