GEOFF Foster has retained the seniors’ club championship title at Hereford’s Belmont Golf Club.
Foster took the prize for the second successive year with a return of 71-11-60.
John Alexander was second with 74-11-63, while Tommy Boswell finished third after carding 78-13-65. Alexander also carried off the best nett award.
Harvey Hancock clinched the club’s stableford Cup after an excellent return of 43 points.
Will Lloyd was the runner-up in the competition with 39 points, while Derrick Hancock was third with 37 points.
Belmont’s ‘A’ team of Des Samuel, Maurice Embrey, Paul Gosling and R Harrison won the seniors’ am-am competition.
The foursome were the clear winners of the event after carding a total of 127 points.
