NUNNERY Wood Panthers Under 12s moved comfortably into the next round of the Stourport Youth League Cup with a 10-0 win at Kinver Colts.

An excellent second-half display produced seven goals as Panthers bagged their biggest winning margin by scoring 10 times for the second time this season.

The disjointed visitors still led 3-0 at half-time with goals from Max Hill, Harry Clark and Callum McDonough.

A string of changes worked well with Harley Brewster coming on to score two.

McDonough added his second alongside strikes from Reece Snookes-Hathaway, Harry Green, Ben Williams and Jaber Ahmed.

Keeper Joe Gilbert made several good saves for Panthers.

Northside Tigers ended West Hagley Juniors’ unbeaten record with a 3-1 success in the cup.

Brandon Beasant won the match with a hat-trick and then played the last 10 minutes in goal after an injury to the keeper.

Tigers raced into a two-goal lead at half time before Beasant finished off a flowing move involving Thomasson and Obrey.

West Hagley scored a consolation near the end which their efforts merrited.

Wise was man-of-the-match for Tigers and Charlie McKee also impressed.

UNDER 11s: Northside Tigers produced a big cup shock with a 3-2 victory over Division One side Worcester Colts after extra-time.

The Tigers started brightly and created chances but went in behind at half-time to two well-taken goals.

Jordan Wise reduced the arrears with a clinical strike and they forced extra-time with Luke Obrey’s fine solo effort.

Obrey bagged the winner after Noah Martin’s great run and shot.

Tigers then held firm with man-of-the-match Connor Thomasson shining.

Holders Warndon Villages Sharks had to battle in defence of the cup, edging a 1-0 win at Ferndale Youth.

In a physical encounter, Matt Sowden’s early shot was well blocked by the keeper.

Ferndale defended in numbers but Kieran Burns broke the deadlock, finishing off good work from Sam Langston and Sowden.

The hosts’ chances were restricted but keeper Harry Stanley did clutch onto a deceptive cross-shot.

Ferndale attacked more in the second period and Stanley tipped an effort onto the bar before pushing a late shot around the post.

It left more space to attack at the other end but Sharks could not take advantage as James Stevens, Jack Rule and Burns all going close.

UNDER 16s: Worcester City Wanderers fell 4-3 at home to Division One outfit Withymoor Colts in the cup.

Underdogs City defended early pressure and hit back to take the lead when Adam Evans found the net after a defensive mix-up.

Within 10 minutes, Toby Attwood put a confident City two goals ahead.

But Withymoor discovered fresh determination and their first goal led to two more and a 3-2 advantage at the break.

City played well in the second-half in their pursuit of an equaliser.

Substitute keeper Matthew Burton shone at the other end and was voted their man-of-the-match.

With time running out, Attwood levelled the scores.

However, Withymoor struck the winner with a 25-yard effort into the top corner.
