DEFENDER Shabir Khan is unlikely to be risked for Worcester City’s Worcestershire FA Senior Cup clash against Redditch United on Monday (7.45pm).
September’s player-of-the-month suffered an ankle injury in the 3-2 victory over AFC Wimbledon last Saturday and was unable to take part in the second-half.
Manager Richard Dryden wants to name a strong side for the quarter-final clash but insists getting his in-form left-back ready for the Blue Square South trip to Havant and Waterlooville next weekend is the priority.
Khan will be joined on the sidelines by on-loan midfielder Michael McGrath, who will be left out in case parent club Kidderminster Harriers want to use him later in the competition.
Captain Craig Wilding is also a doubt after missing Thursday’s training session through illness.
