WORCESTER Rowing Club’s Autumn Regatta will see more than 300 competitors race on the River Severn on Saturday.
Clubs from across the country will be represented, including local crews from Bewdley, Stourport and Hereford as well as those from further afield such as Nottingham and Oxford.
Rowers of all ages and abilities will compete over the 450-metre sprint course from the railway bridge to the clubhouse from 9am until 5pm.
In addition this year, the regatta will be hosting the premier West of England Challenge Vase for elite coxed fours which has been contested since 1877 as well as lunchtime fun events for mixed crews of any ability. The event is free to spectators, who can benefit from live commentary, a bar and a barbecue.
