KIDDERMINSTER Harriers will be looking to continue their good run of form when they take on Torquay United in front of the television cameras at Aggborough tonight (7.45).
Mark Yates’s side have taken seven points from their last three Blue Square Premier matches after suffering two defeats in their first three games of the season.
Harriers defeated Rushden and Diamonds 2-1 on Saturday to extend their unbeaten home record to three games and they can move into the lea-gue’s top 10 on goal difference with victory against Torquay.
The Gulls have endured a disappointing start to the campaign with just one victory from their first six fixtures, but Harriers assistant manager Neil Howarth is expecting a tough match.
He said: “They are a good side, they’ve not had the best of starts and they came close to getting automatic promotion last season. We are looking forward to the game.
“The lads have been working hard in training and that’s where you improve your weaknesses and since the Mansfield game they have looked different on the training ground and in matches.”
The match is being broadcast live on Setanta Sports but Howarth does not think that will have any bearing on the performance of hisplayers.
He said: “They just need to get on with it and not let the cameras bother them.”
Kidderminster have a clean bill of health and have been boosted by the capture until the end of the season of defender Keith Lowe. Left-back Lee Baker has extended his loan until January.
