A WINNING draw at Alvechurch and Hopwood earned Pershore Seconds 16 points and boosted their relegation fight.
They remain bottom of Crusader Worcestershire League Division One but can still catch three other clubs in the table on the final weekend.
After winning the toss, the hosts invited Pershore to bat and a fine batting performance, led by Trevor Ridings (57), got them to 206-5.
In reply, Alverchurch maintained the required asking rate but lost wickets at regular intervals.
They never came to terms with the spin of Tom Bird (5-62) but Pershore just failed to take the last wicket as Alvechurch closed on 191-9.
Pershore Thirds made the divisions six to nine plate final when they defeated Malvern Thirds.
Dean Brookes (44) was again in fine form as Pershore posted 250-8 from 45 overs.
In reply, Malvern lost regular wickets to the bowlers, led by skipper Jason Brown with 5-48, and their innings closed on 149, leaving Pershore victors by 101 runs.
