WORCESTERSHIRE have been handed another injury scare ahead of Tuesday's crucial LVCC Division Two clash with Warwickshire.
Veteran batsman Graeme Hick pulled out of today's NatWest Pro40 clash with Gloucestershire Gladiators following a recurrence of an elbow injury that ruled him out for two weeks at the start of the campaign.
It is unlikely that the 42-year-old will need another operation, but director of cricket Steve Rhodes is already without two senior seamers in Simon Jones and Matt Mason for this table-topping clash.
The New Road side are still awaiting news from Kabir Ali's back scan from Wednesday and it's unlikely that the country's leading wicket-taker will be able to take part.
