A SUPERB second-half performance by Bromyard gave them a well deserved 3-1 victory against previously-unbeaten Tividale at Delahay Meadow in the West Midlands League Premier Division.
The home team started slowly and found themselves 1-0 down after 10 minutes because of some sloppy defending.
Then, they could have gone further behind, but the woodwork saved them.
In the 30th minute, Gareth McCarthy got on the end of Andy Malcolm’s cross to make it 1-1 with a goal against the run of play.
After the break, Bromyard looked like a different team, completely dominating the play with wide men Overton and Matt Graham causing all sorts of problems to the Tividale defence.
On the hour, Graham made it 2-1 to Bromyard from close range when he got on the end of Overton’s cross and, in the 78th minute, it was McCarthy who turned provider for Malcolm to slot home making it 3-1.
Tividale were left stunned and disappointed after losing a game which they could have wrapped up in the first-half.
