KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have lost the services of one player but signed another.
Simon Russell, the Aggborough club’s longest-serving player, has linked up with York City ahead of their game at Northwich tomorrow afternoon.
Russell joined Harriers in 2004 after being released by Hull City and after playing in the club’s final Football League season, featured in all of Harriers’ campaigns back at Conference level.
The winger leaves having made a total of 154 appearances, scoring 17 goals.
“Simon has been a great servant to this club over the last few years," said Kidderminster boss Mark Yates.
“We were trying to tie something up with him here but unfortunately Simon has not been able to get what he was looking for.”
However, Yates has strengthened his defensive options by signing former Wolves player Keith Lowe.
The 22 year-old full-back has penned non-contract forms and is available to make his home debut in the Blue Square Premier clash with Altrincham tomorrow (3pm).
