MALVERN have snapped up former Worcester Academy player Cameron Pimlow.
The Midlands One club travel to Weston tomorrow for their next friendly, while the seconds head to Brecon.
Malvern, who fielded 36 players in a trial game of four 20-minute sessions against Burton in their latest match, host Luctonians in the league opener on September 13.
Director of rugby David Robins said: “Cameron is a class act but misses the Weston game because he has been selected by the county to play in an under 20s game against Leinster Academy tomorrow.
“He will be a valuable addition to the club. We still need to sign more prop forwards.
“In common with many clubs, we are a bit thin on the ground in that area, especially as we have had two retirements with Matt Richardson and Steve Cooper hanging up their boots.”
