MATTHEW Jones will make his home Worcester Warriors debut after director of rugby Mike Ruddock named his side for the pre-season clash with Moseley at Sixways on Saturday (3pm).
Ruddock has selected a strong line-up for the only game on home soil during the pre-season schedule for Tony Windo’s testimonial match.
Fly-half Jones, who impressed at the Middlesex Sevens and away to Doncaster Knights last weekend, is handed the number ten jersey in a side captained by Pat Sanderson.
Miles Benjamin, Marcel Garvey and Tom Wood all start, after playing at the Sevens at Twickenham last weekend.
Ruddock has made it clear that his intention is to give the majority of the squad game time with Rico Gear, Loki Crichton, Kai Horstmann, Greg Rawlinson and Chris Horsman among the replacements.
