SKIPPER Steve Lutz returns for Evesham United’s British Gas Business League Premier Division clash with Chippenham Town at St George’s Lane tonight (7.45).
The Robins captain was forced to sit out his side’s opening 1-1 draw at Bedford Town with a stomach bug, but has now recovered fully to return to manager Paul West’s starting XI.
West said: “Missing Steve was a big loss for us and it puts the result into context a bit. However, he is fit again and we have no other injury problems.”
West admits highly-fancied Chippenham, who beat Cambridge City 3-1 on Saturday, will be a difficult prospect.
He added: “Chippenham are one of the favourites to go up this year and that is based on their exploits in the play-offs over the last two years.
“They will have aspirations to go up this season and tonight’s game will be a good test for us.”
In Division One Midlands, Bromsgrove Rovers travel to Bedworth United tonight (7.45).
Malvern Town are away at Romulus and Stourport Swifts entertain Sutton Coldfield Town (both 7.45).
Meanwhile, Pershore Town host Knowle in the Midland Combination Premier Division (7.45).
