Worcester Nomads travelled to Stourbridge for an important clash in the Worce-stershire Crusader League Di-vision One.
Stourbridge were inserted and openers Olly Hill and Richard Bradley (52) played attractive shots against the pace attack of Liam O’Driscoll and Olly Butterworth.
Butterworth made the breakthrough when Hill shouldered arms to a ball that came back and bowled him for 18.
Geoff Taylor put the brakes on and wickets began to fall.
Taylor went on to take four wickets as the Stourbridge innings closed on 202-8 but, due to the rain, Nomads were unable to start their reply.
