LUKE Towler grabbed four goals as Bromyard Town crushed Wolverhampton Casuals 6-2 in their first West Midlands Premier Division game of the season with a superb second-half display.
In the opening minutes, Bromyard keeper Matt Oliver made a fine save and shortly afterwards Towler opened his account with a simple tap-in after good work in the box by fellow striker Andy Malcolm.
The hosts came storming back and levelled in the 23rd minute and were unlucky not to go further ahead before the break.
Towler scored his second on 52 minutes and midfielder Gareth McCarthy made it 3-1 after being introduced as a substitute.
Towler complete his hat-trick on the hour and shortly afterwards claimed his fourth with a clever lob over Casuals’ keeper.
Casuals hit back with 10 minutes left but Matt Graham converted Adam Overton’s cross late on to restore Bromyard’s four-goal advantage.
Pegasus Ladies retained the Beverly Price Memorial Shield with a 2-1 victory over Cheltenham.
Simone Quinn put them ahead before Julie Nicholas struck the winner after Cheltenham had equalised.
