DROITWICH SPA FC are looking to make club history by extending their run in the Isuzu FA Vase.
Spa suffered a disappointing defeat in their last fixture, losing 3-1 to Stonehouse Town in their first league defeat of the season.
In a ten-minute nightmare period for The Saltmen, Stonehouse stunned Spa and put three past them. Perry Moss did grab a consolation goal for the side, but it came too late for Andy Crowther's side.
An unfortunate loss for the side, however they still sit alone at the top of the uhlSport Hellenic League Division One - six points clear from closest chasers Redditch Borough.
Despite the potential invincible league campaign coming to an end, Droitwich will be keen to move on and leave it behind them as they look ahead to the third round proper of the Isuzu FA Vase.

It has already been an impressive cup-run for Spa. The side entered the competition in the first round of qualifying, easily seeing off the challenge from Nuneaton Griff FC with a 6-2 victory.
Droitwich's scoring prowess continued in the second round of qualifying, as they travelled to Bewdley Town and ran out 6-3 victors.
They then beat Holbeach United 3-0 in the first round proper, before qualifying for this round by beating Ashby Ivanhoe 3-1 away from home.
By qualifying for this round of the competition, Spa have already set club history, with their best-ever run in the national cup competition. However, an unsatisfied Droitwich side will look to further increase their record with a win over Abbey Hulton United, as they take one step closer to a trip to Wembley.
Abbey Hulton sit in seventh position in the North West Counties League First Division South and have enjoyed a decent campaign thus far, winning ten games in the league and losing on eight occasions. They currently sit just three points out of the playoff zone, with a game in hand.
The game kicks off at Abbey Hulton at 3pm this Saturday (December 7).
