WORCESTER CITY under eights have progressed to the National Finals of the Junior Premier League Winter Cup, where they will play at St Georges.

The team of 10 was newly formed this summer by the coaching team of Alice Hill, Luke Lamb and Terry Gorman. 

They triumphed in the Junior Premier League for the area, remaining undefeated throughout and scoring 44 goals in the competitive phase of the competition. The win qualifies them for the national finals at St Georges in January. 

Coach Alice Hill, said: "The team continue to grow and develop together and never fail to excite all those watching.

"The boys are pushing each other to the best of their abilities, sticking to our style and dominating play. We could not be more proud of this team and to be representing Worcester City."

The squad of potential future Worcester City stars is: 

Charlie Smyth, Logan Lamb, Arthur Lewis Hill, Louie Scott, George Gorman, Toby Bennet, Elliot Dixon, Riley Colley, George Willets, Kareem Robinson-Hooper.
