WORCESTERSHIRE RAPIDS' draw has been revealed for the first ever Vitality T20 Women's County Cup
The side will play away to the Northamptonshire Steelbacks in the first round of the competition, which will take place on Monday, May 5.
Should they be successful, the following round will see the women take on the winners of the tie between Shropshire and Norfolk on Saturday, May 10.
In total there will be 39 matches between all the teams, and five rounds of competition - with the finals taking place on Monday, May 26.
The competition has been introduced as part of an update to the structure of women's cricket, aiming to showcase the strength of the game in England and Wales.
Thirty-seven sides will compete in the competition in total, across the three tiers of women's domestic cricket, with tier one sides entering in the third round.
Due to the way the draw has fallen, at least two teams from the second and third tiers are guaranteed a spot in the quarter finals of the tournament.
Following their recent promotion to tier two status, the Rapids will be keen to put on a good showing throughout, and go on a deep cup run against a number of strong sides.
