A swimming club has started the season by competing against Olympians at a special event.
After a summer break from training, Ledbury and Malvern Swimming Club (LAMSC) competed in Sprint with the Stars, at Birmingham's Sandwell Aquatics Centre, the swimming venue for the Commonwealth Games in 2022.
Club swimmers had already competed at the Worcester Autumn meet at Perdiswell Leisure Centre.

The event saw them race against world-class swimmers, including Paris 2024 Olympians, Alex Cohoon, Lauren Cox, Arno Kamminga, and Marie Wattel, with Olympic and World gold medalist Adam Peaty also in attendance.
LAMSC's 10-strong team consisted of Eve McKenna, Rosa Lu, Lily Ferguson, Tilly Green, Edward Foley, Daniel Vasilev, Oscar Townsend, Freya Smith, Emily Goggins, and Fin Ferguson.
Head coach Rob Lancaster said: "The whole team swam heats to be proud of, it was a great way of kicking off the season with excellent swimming by all and lots of fun had."
The club has continued with focused training sessions in preparation for various upcoming leagues.
The LAMSC teams say they have been well supported, with a good proportion of swimmers achieving county times, personal bests, and medals.
The club is open for trials and welcomes aspiring swimmers at level seven or above, including Masters.
