WORCESTERSHIRE BOWLS' annual luncheon took place on Sunday (November 3), and saw a host of notable achievements celebrated, including two national titles.
The event took place in the Grantham Hick Suite at Worcestershire County Cricket ground.
The national titles were won earlier this year by Izzy White in the women's singles category, representing Chester Road Bowls Club, and a four-man team from Vines Park Bowls Club in the men's fours competition.
The Vines Park team consisted of Steve Poyner, Gareth Burbridge, Chris Barton and Richard Moule.
White took home the national title, winning 21-17 against Anne Bernard of Ryde Marina Bowls Club, while Vines Park's team won 18-15 against Southey Bowls Club.
Alongside his national title, Richard Moule also won the Worcestershire County Men's Singles Championship, with Izzy White doubling up, winning the Worcestershire County Singles Championship.
Jack Pullin and Jonathan Stokes of Bredon Bowls Club won in the Disability Bowls England Pairs.
St Dunstans Bowls Club and Broadway Bowls Club were also named the Men's and Women's Worcestershire and Herefordshire Top Clubs, respectively.
Harvey Griffiths of St. Dunstans Bowls Club was named the Midland Counties Under 25s winner.
Worcestershire Bowls Association are hoping that Griffiths' win will encourage other young people from the county to take up the sport.
