WORCESTER CITY FC invited back the side who stunned Coventry in the FA Cup to watch their 2-1 win over Coleshill Town on Saturday (November 2).
In November 2014 Worcester City, then in the Conference North, stunned a Coventry City side who played their league football in England's third tier.
The match was Coventry's first defeat to a nonleague side since they lost to Sutton United in 1959 - the same year in which Worcester City knocked Liverpool out of the FA Cup, winning 1-0.
Worcester City have history against Coventry in the FA Cup, with Coventry's record defeat being an 11-2 battering against Berwick Rangers - a Worcester-based pub side that would evolve into Worcester City the following season.
The game saw Sean Geddes grab a brace to inspire Worcester to a 2-1 victory over the side sitting 64 places above them in the English football pyramid.
Speaking after the game, the Worcester boss at time - Carl Heeley - said: "The seven minutes of injury time were the longest of my life, but this is the proudest day of my football career and finishes off the week for me after the birth of my daughter.
"We genuinely thought we could come here and get a result. We've got some good footballers and they're incredibly fit lads, so I didn't think the full-time/part-time thing would be a factor.
"Often in these games, you get fazed by the occasion but we took the game to them and were the better side and I'm very proud of them."
A number of the players were in attendance last Saturday (November 2) to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their giant killing and watch the current side see off Coleshill Town, courtesy of a stoppage time winner by Kyle Belmonte.
They also ran a Q+A session on the same day.
Worcester City lost 2-1 to Dudley Town of the Premier Midland Football League to exit the competition this year.
