Two Worcestershire clubs have gained national titles at The England Bowls Championship.
The competition saw Izzie White from Chester Road Bowls Club in Kidderminster win the national women's singles title, while the team from Vines Park Bowls Club in Droitwich took home gold in the men's fours competition.
The winners will be presented with their trophies at the county luncheon on Sunday, November 3, before a formal presentation taking place at the Bowls England Champions Dinner on Sunday, November 23.
White took home the title after a 21-17 win against Iona Bird of Barnwood Bowls Club in the semi-final, followed by a 21-17 victory against Anne Bernard of Ryde Marina Bowls Club in the final.
This win adds another accolade to White's name after she was named the youngest-ever winner of the Women's Junior Singles six years ago.
In the men's fours, Vines Park Bowls Club's team of Steve Poyner, Gareth Burbridge, Chris Barton and Richard Moule secured a 18-15 win against Southey Bowls Club in the final, following an emphatic victory against Essex County Bowls Club in the semi-final, winning 14-9.
