Worcester City breezed into the next round of the Worcestershire Senior Cup with a straightforward victory over their Hellenic League Premier Division hosts.
Kyle Belmonte scored at the start and finish of the tie with Logan Stoddart and Elliott Hartley also on target on a night when the margin would have been greater had it not been for Berrow keeper Gabrie Bajrami.
The opener came after just five minutes when Zac Guinan broke down the right before squaring the ball for Belmonte to fire into the roof of the net from six yards.
Guinan then sent a header over the target with Liam Lockett and Jordan Lymn putting efforts well wide as City dominated the opening exchanges.
Hartley should have doubled the lead just after the half-hour when he raced in behind the defence only to be foiled by the keeper who pulled off another decent stop five minutes later to keep out a Liam Lockett effort, Hartley the provider this time.
An injury to midfielder Nathan Hayward prompted a change for the visitors with Cam Monteith joining the fray and it was the step five side who suddenly found their footing with central defender Billy Coughlin putting a header wide.
But deep into added time, City doubled their lead when Guinan crossed to the far side of the area where Stoddart swept the ball home on the half-volley.
Inkberrow raised their game at the start of the second period and a looping Alex Griffiths effort sailed inches over the bar.
Monteith thumped an effort into the side-netting at the other end before the visitors made it 3-0 on 58 minutes. A through ball was not dealt with and Hartley nipped in before chipping the ball over the advancing Bajrami.
Further changes followed from both sides to knock the game off its stride before Oliver Smith fizzed an effort wide of the City eight minutes from time.
In the end though it was Worcester who wrapped up the scoring in added time when Lockett’s cross picked out Belmonte on the right-hand side of the area and he lashed home at the second attempt after his first effort had been saved.
