Large crowds gathered to watch a tug-of-war tournament hosted by Worcester Themmadi on Saturday (July 13).
Teams from across the UK attended the tournament at Nunnery Wood Sports Complex.
On Thursday (July 11), team manager Thomas Mathai Kondoor confirmed that 14 teams had registered to take part in the tournament.
Mr Mathai Kondor said: "Last time we had around 1,000 people visit, but this time we are expecting between 1,500 and 2,000."
One person in attendance was Worcester's new MP Tom Collins, who could be seen watching from the sidelines.
