"He had an operation in the winter, has got through the first block of Championship games.
“But it has just stirred up again so having a bit of a look with that again to see where he stands with that."
Richardson continued: “Yadvinder unfortunately, having made his debut against Surrey, is out for the season with a back injury."
On the topic of Gibbon, Richardson said: "Ben is going to be out for a little while but hopefully will be returning before the end of the season, but he also is suffering with a back injury."
He explained that injuries have just been a part of recent weeks, saying: "It is very much the nature of the season.
"I’d be very naïve to think we would get through the season without any injuries especially for the bowlers.
"It’s all been in the last three weeks since that Surrey game," he explained."
He continued: "“We knew we would always have to be resourceful. We talk about it at the start of the season.
“Everyone wants to get in that first eleven but throughout the season every single player in that squad have then got an opportunity to contribute, and they will have those chances.
“With those injuries that happen, opportunities come around for other players but the boys know to get through a season, as hectic as it is, and that we will need as many hands on deck as possible.”
