Worcestershire's Joe Leach hit a ton on a rare Shrewsbury appearance.

The all-rounder's century came during the club's 169 run victory over Kidderminster in a Birmingham and District Premier Cricket League clash.

Leach joined the game with a score of 18-2, scoring an impressive 108 runs off 118 balls, including two sixes and 11 fours.

He and opener George Hargreave (67) partnered up to mount a third-wicket partnership of 111 runs.

He was eventually dismissed sixth with the run count at 230.

The team went on to reach 277 all out in the span of 55 overs.

His Pears teammate Ben Gibbon posted figures of 10-2-59-4.

Kidderminster were then sent packing at 117 in 48.4 overs with Leach no called upon to bowl.

Elsewhere Ed Pollock, who had contributed to the Pears' Vitality Blast victory over Lancashire the previous evening, hit 61 runs off 47 deliveries with four sixes and four fours in a total of 192 all out for Barnt Green.

He controlled a first wicket stand of 87 with Ben Chapman-Lilley, who went on to make an unbeaten 85 runs before the opposing Himley were bowled out for 149 in 54.1 overs.

Elsewhere, Rapids top scorer in the Yorkshire game Ethan Brookes returned 1-16 and scored 19 runs at four for Knowledge and Dorridge (236-7), who overcame Kenilworth Wardens by three wickets.

Meanwhile Toby Cox's had figures of 7-0-16-2 as Halesowen were bowled out for 109, while Olly Cox scored 15 for Ombersley, who were victorious by three wickets.
