Worcestershire Rapids had little to offer as they were thrashed by Yorkshire Vikings on the opening night of the 2024 Vitality Blast.
Leading the hosts to victory at Headingley, Adam Lyth shone with an impressive 55 off 33 deliveries.
Despite an impressive 42 runs of 32 balls by Ethan Brookes, and a 25 from Gareth Roderick, Rapids were bowled out for just 101 in a measly 15.4 over innings with 50 balls to spare.
The clash was former England captain Joe Root's first Blast appearance for the Vikings in two years, but due to the visitor's poor innings, and Lyth's heroics, he only had time to tally up an unbeaten 13, as Yorkshire outscored Worcestershire in just 11.4 overs.
