FOUR Worcestershire players have been picked in both the men's and women's versions of The Hundred.
Two men and two women were chosen for the 2024 edition of The Hundred following the draft which took place at The Shard in London.
Men’s players Adam Hose and overseas signing Usama Mir and Women’s duo, Charis Pavely and Emily Arlott, have all been selected.
Batter Hose will be playing for the Northern Superchargers for the third successive summer.
He has scored 316 runs in 16 matches during 2022 and 2023.
Leg spinner Mir, who is returning to New Road to play in the Vitality Blast, will again be linking up with the Manchester Originals.
He picked up six wickets in six appearances for the Originals in 2023.
Pavely will again be part of the Birmingham Phoenix squad having made her debut in the tournament last summer when she made three appearances.
Fellow all-rounder Arlott will be joining up with the Phoenix for the fourth year in a row and has taken 22 wickets and scored 119 runs.
Each team in The Hundred will add a further two players to both their men’s and women’s squads ahead of the start of the season in July.
They will be offered ‘wildcard’ contracts based on their performances in domestic T20 cricket.
