An ambitious teenager is making progress as he strives towards his ultimate aim of becoming a world motorsport champion.

Tommy launched his racing career at the tender age of nine, competing in the national go-karting championship.

He showcased his talent very quickly by clinching the Shennington Cadet Championship three years later.
Now, Tommy is gearing up for his rookie season in the BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship, where he will pit his skills against several 14 to 17-year-olds aspiring for the prestigious trophy.
The season opener at Silverstone in March will see Tommy represent the multi-championship-winning Race Car Consultants team.
The team will serve as his support system, providing mechanical, engineering, and practice assistance on race days.
As one of the handpicked drivers of the team, Tommy will participate in 24 races over eight grueling rounds across world-renowned race tracks such as Brands Hatch and Thruxton.
Tommy said: "I’m really excited to be moving into the Fiesta Junior Championship this year and even though it’s my first season in the car, I’m feeling confident and things have gone really well so far throughout the winter.
“I’m up against lots of fantastic drivers but I’m feeling good and my tough schedule should prepare me well.
“More than anything, I have a first-class car and team and that’s given me huge confidence that I can win and then take my next step up into single seater cars, with the ultimate dream being Formula One driver.”
David Ellesley, from Race Car Consultants, said: "Tommy is a huge talent and putting his heart and soul into preparing for the new season alongside his team mates.
"It’s a big year for him and if he keeps learning and progressing, he has a superb future ahead of him."
Tommy will race in a modified Mark 7 Ford Fiesta Zetec car with a 1.6 litre engine, which has undergone a complete makeover.
