WORCESTER RFC U18 Girls have reached the quarter-finals of the National Girls Cup after a thumping 48-7 win over Mansfield in the round of 16.
Worcester reached this stage by winning the Midlands U18 Pool 2 with three wins from three over the likes of Cheltenham North, Old Halesonians and Barkers Butts.
That gave them a home round-of-16 clash with Mansfield, who won the Midlands U18 Pool 1 by beating Leicester Forest and Melton Mowbray.
But it was a dominant display from Worcester, who blew their visitors away with centre Natalee Evans recording an impressive points haul of 13.
Worcester will now face Welwyn in the quarter-final, with a date and time yet to be confirmed.
Elsewhere at the club, there was also a big win for the Worcester U14s Girls beat Dings 29-20 in what was a very entertaining game of rugby.
In the men's game, the first team's struggles continued in the Regional 2 West Midlands as they were well beaten at Ludlow 39-7. They remain 13 points off safety, having played a game more than Malvern in 10th position.
