POPULAR radio broadcaster and legendary Worcester sport personality Dave Bradley has been revealed as the new Honorary President of the Worcester Warriors Supporters Trust.
The Trust, which is now officially recognised, has been set-up to maintain efforts to keep the Warriors name alive following the club entering administration in September 2022.
The Trust held its official opening at the end of last year and now they have announced that Bradley, known for his radio commentary on BBC Hereford & Worcester, will take the ambassadorial role to "support the trust in promoting its aims and objectives and helping to grow the membership".
'Bradders' as he is fondly known, has been involved in Worcester sport for decades and was the 'voice of Sixways' over the tannoy for a number of years, doing the same role at Worcestershire County Cricket Club.
One of his more significant commitments is his position as President at the Cricket Club in Martley, the village of his birth. He has had a continuous association with the MCC for over 60 years, having played his first match at the age of 13 and held, at one time or another, pretty well every club role including player, captain, secretary, chairman and now, of course, president.
In November of last year, Bradley was invited to King Charles III's 75th birthday celebrations at Highgrove House in Gloucestershire, having been nominated as someone who has made a significant contribution to his local community. All the invitees shared their birth year with the monarch.
