REDDITCH United are into the semi-finals of the Worcestershire FA Senior Cup, but not after a scare from lower-level Stourport Swifts on Tuesday night.
Redditch, Step 3 of the non-league ladder, had to come from behind to take the game to a penalty shootout that they eventually won comfortably by four goals to one.
Swifts, Step 5, had taken the lead shortly after the break when Ben Jevons headed home from a free-kick but Reece Flannagan's 81st-minute equaliser saved the day for Redditch.
Stourport came so close to winning it in stoppage time but Brad Burton's goal-line clearance with virtually the final kick of the game sent the game to penalties and left Swifts wondering what might have been.
The first three were converted to hand Redditch a 2-1 lead before Stourport's Matt Harland missed the target.
Jack Price then made a superb save to prevent the hosts, leaving AJ George the chance to send the away side through, which he did, and Matt Clarke's men will now face Alvechurch in the semi-final.
The winner of that game will take on the winner of Evesham United's clash with Kidderminster Harriers in the final.
