WORCESTER City and Stourport Swifts will battle it out for a place in the quarter-finals of the Isuzu FA Vase after being drawn to play each other at Walshes Meadow in the round of 16.
City - the bookies' favourites to lift the trophy - are equalling their longest run in the competition after beating Lichfield City 2-0 on Saturday and will be competing for a place in the last eight for the first time in their history when they make the short trip down the road to Stourport.
Swifts booked their place in the fifth-round thanks to a 3-1 home win against Ashby Ivanhoe at the weekend, in which they came from behind to put their name in the hat.
Both City and Stourport were in the smaller North section of the draw and, by facing each other, have avoided a lengthy away trip and will both benefit from a bumper crowd at Walshes Meadow on February 10.
The two sides regularly played each other when City were in the Midland Football League Premier before Chris Cornes' men were shifted over to the Hellenic League Premier for the 2023/24 campaign.
In the games played last season, Stourport won all three encounters, doing the double over City in the league and beating them 3-0 at Claines Lane in the League Cup.
Here is the full draw in the fifth-round of the FA Vase: Emley vs Whickham; Stourport Swifts vs Worcester City; Hallam vs Lincoln United; Bridgewater United vs Deal Town; Tilbury vs North Greenford United; Highworth Town vs Great Wakering Rovers; Jersey Bulls vs Falmouth Town; Hilltop vs Romford.
The ties will be played on Saturday, February 10 where the winners will progress to the quarter-finals and pocket £2250 in prize money, whilst the losers will receive £750.
