WORCESTER City and Boston Town will be hoping it's a case of "third time lucky" this weekend as they prepare to finally play for a place in the fourth-round of the Isuzu FA Vase.
City were originally drawn as the home side for the tie but after two postponements in succession, FA rules mean the clash has been reversed and will now be played 150 miles away in Lincolnshire.
City did propose an alternative ground to host the game on Saturday in the wake of the second postponement at Claines due to a waterlogged pitch, but that was rejected and Boston will welcome Chris Cornes' men to the Mortgages For You Stadium.
Cornes' side will travel on the back of a frustrating 1-1 draw with Fairford Town on Tuesday night, a result that saw them grow their lead at the top of the Hellenic League Premier to three points, with two games in hand remaining.
But the Worcester boss admitted it was a missed opportunity to go further clear: "It’s another point on the board but it’s also two points dropped because we have been in total control and we’ve gifted them a chance at the end and they have taken it."
City had led through Kyle Belmonte's first-half goal but Jamal Lawrence scored in the 85th minute to salvage a point for Fairford and Cornes insists his side have to be more clinical in front of goal.
"They haven’t earned it, they haven’t tested us and it’s come down to a lack of composure and calmness in front of goal from us and that is what has hurt us," added Cornes.
"We have done more than enough to win the game. We had numerous chances but we didn’t do it and they have grown in confidence towards the end and they get a point out of it.
"It has been the theme throughout the season, not being clinical enough. It is probably being over critical but that’s what we have to be, we are striving to be the best team in the league and we want to win things all the time.
"We want perfection, that’s the standards we set each other."
Worcester will be hoping to return to those high standards on Saturday against a Boston side that should be well refreshed having not played a game since November 25.
But they have struggled so far this season and sit 13th in the United Counties Football League Premier Division North table with just four wins from their 15 matches.
Despite the form, it remains a cup tie and anything is possible on the day, especially after such a long trip for those City players and against a side they know so little about, that brings its own difficulties.
