WORCESTER ABC boxer Caitlyn Wise helped Team England beat Team Ireland in a boxing event last weekend.
Wise, the European Junior bronze medallist, was part of the Team England squad that made the trip to Dungarvon in County Waterford for a boxing competition with Ireland.
Wise faced Ireland's Tegan Farrelly, the current 4x National Junior Champion.

Throughout the bout, the Worcester boxer used her long range to keep Farrelly at bay under plenty of pressure from the Irish competitor. But every time Farrelly made a breakthrough, she would be constantly greeted with a Wise uppercut.
The 16-year-old used her intelligent footwork to control the bout and was awarded the clear winner by the judges, winning all three rounds unanimously.
The overall team result at the end of the series of fights ended Ireland 3 - 6 England.
