BATH flanker and former Worcester Warriors captain Ted Hill has undergone successful surgery on a hamstring injury sustained in a Premiership game earlier this month.
Hill, who moved to Bath following the collapse of hometown club Worcester last year, came off during the Gallagher Premiership victory over Newcastle Falcons on the opening day of the season two weeks ago.
The club confirmed that he was due to be out for 'a number of months' and on Tuesday he was pictured recovering after successful surgery on his leg.
Rest up Ted, wishing you a speedy and full recovery ❤️🩹❤️🩹

On Instagram, Hill said: "By no means the start of the season that I wanted, and I am gutted to be missing out for the next few months.
"The hamstring is all fixed now and I'm already looking forward to getting going with the rehab.
"Looking forward to supporting the boys and coaches as they fly into the start of the season."
Hill cemented his place as a regular in the Bath first-team last season and was voted the club's Forward of the Season in the 2022/23 campaign.
He had been involved with England's pre-Rugby World Cup training camp earlier this summer but was left out of the squad that travelled to France.
Bath have started the new Premiership campaign with two bonus-point wins from two and sit top of the table, but Hill will unfortunately now be sidelined for the rest of 2023.
