MEMBERS of a local table tennis club celebrated a host of awards this weekend for their performance in the annual summer league competition.
The Droitwich Spa Community Table Tennis Club held its AGM and Presentation Evening at The Talbot, on High Street, in Droitwich, earlier this month (Saturday, September 9).
A number of players picked up awards for their performance throughout the competition.
Russel Evans and John Tait won awards for their efforts in the 'Azim Sharif Memorial Trophy' (Division 1).
The Division 1 runners-up were Eliot Brandwood and Steve Smith, and the Division 1 averages-winner was John Tait.
In the 'Eliot Brandwood Cup' (Division 2) Tom Ryder and Nathan Law swooped winning awards, with Adam Anderson and Max Strange finishing as Division 2 runners up.
The Division 2 averages-winner was Tom Ryder.
In the 'Russell Evans Cup' (Division 3), Dene Fokias and Leo Tarrant were the winners, with Dan Evans and Logan Guest finishing as runners-up.
Dene Fokias was also the Division 3 averages-winner.
The 'Don Evans Cup', which goes to the most improved junior, was awarded to Max Strange.
