WORCESTER Raiders made it seven wins from seven in pre-season as Jordan Murphy's late goal saw them beat West Bromwich Albion U21s at Sixways.
In an uneventful, typically pre-season game of football, there was little to split the two sides before Murphy's late winner in front of over 400 at Sixways.

Karl Gormley's side remain unbeaten in the month of July ahead of their 2023/24 league campaign.
It was a quiet first-half with very little to report as the two sides canceled each other out but Rich Smith did come close before the break when he rounded the keeper, only to roll his shot the wrong side of the post.
Despite the lack of action on the pitch, there was a significant crowd at Sixways for a pre-season clash, with 400 in attendance.

The game continued to be a tight affair into the second-half and it took until the hour mark for a chance when Joe Bates' corner almost provided the first goal, only for the ball to be hacked off the line by a defender.
It was heading toward a rather dull 0-0 draw until the final minutes when Murphy found the back of the net from close range.
Murphy had another chance in stoppage time to make it two but it did not matter as they did enough to record a seventh win out of seven in pre-season.
Raiders are now just eight days out (Tuesday, August 1) from the new Hellenic League Premier season when they go to Pershore Town in the opener and they could not be in better form after an unbeaten month.
They are looking to play one more warm-up game before the league campaign begins after their fixture with Dudley Town was cancelled.
